At The QPD, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality of care. We will communicate recommended treatment options and associated office fees, prior to start of treatment. Please do note that treatment plans sometimes are tentative as the necessary treatment may change through the course of treatment. Generally speaking, if your treatment plan gets revised mid-treatment, no new treatment would be rendered until we update you on these changes.

Our fees are a reflection of the quality of care we provide, and we want to continue our commitment to high quality care by offering a variety of financial options to enable you to receive the dental care you need. If you do not have dental insurance, don’t fret! Learn about The QPD Membership Club and learn how becoming a QPDentite is a smile-inducing and affordable option for your dental needs. If you have insurance, you can learn more about the plans we accept here.

For your out of pocket portion, we expect payment on the day of treatment, unless arranged otherwise in advance. We accept cash, all major credit cards, PayPal, third party interest-free options, and electronic checks from your financial institution (no personal checks); we have also partnered with third party companies offering interest free financing options. In certain cases, and for established patients only, payment plans can be set up.

If you have questions or need more details, we are a phone call away to answer your financial questions, so please do give us a ring at 718-YES-2-QPD.

Dental insurance is a great option to lower your out of pocket expenses for most basic dental treatments. At The QPD, we accept all PPO insurance plans and we are in-network for many. The following are a few of our current participations, but this is not an exhaustive list. To be sure, you may always check directly with us and our knowledgeable Qualified Patient Director will inform you.

- Aetna
- Cigna
- Delta Dental
- Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Guardian
- Humana
- Metlife
- Principal
- United Healthcare

We do not accept any DMO, HMO, or Medicaid plans.

A few tedious points: it is your responsibly to know the type of dental insurance you have (e.g., PPO or DMO) and to provide us with the most up to date insurance information you possess, at least 24 hours prior to your visit. Please contact your insurance carrier prior to your visit to obtain this essential information so that we can accurately verify your benefits in advance of your first visit.

Most insurance policies are complex (as they are designed to be so!) and we will do our best to assist you navigate the confusing insurance process and work to get you the maximum reimbursement. Please be aware that your insurance company may deem certain treatments as not covered solely based on financial reasoning, whereas recommended treatment from our doctors is based on scientific diagnosis and clinical needs.

We will gladly submit claims to your insurance carrier and inform you of the estimated amounts you are responsible for. Unless a payment plan has been discussed and arranged with us, we require that any applicable deductibles and ESTIMATED patient portion be paid at the time treatment is rendered.

No insurance? Join the increasingly growing club. Regrettably, you are among the 45+ million others in the U.S. – and that’s before the pandemic and job losses drastically increased this figure. You and the others without insurance are unfortunately skipping basic preventative care and may be living with painful and dangerous oral health conditions out of the (justified) fear of not being able to afford treatment.

Yes, technically you CAN purchase your own dental insurance plan (independent of a job), but these plans are usually HMO plans and do not allow you to be treated by the dentist of your choice. Or, they are cost prohibitive and often do not provide enough care to be worth it.

At The QPD, we believe that it is truly an unfair and broken system in which only employees of large companies are afforded adequate insurance coverage and concurrently benefit from access to lower costs of dental treatment. We want to do our part to mend this broken system by helping you, the uninsured, afford necessary and continual dental treatment.

And that is why we are excited to implement The QPD Membership Club for our patients without dental insurance. Enrolling to become a QPDentite will enable you to obtain valuable and essential preventive dental care (consistently!) and provide you substantial savings on all other treatments from fillings and crowns, to root canals and cosmetic procedures.

The QPDentites care is hassle-free care, eliminating the complex (and often unfavorable) dental insurance scenario. This means that you never need to burden yourself with any of the following insurance constraints:

- Deductibles
- Waiting periods
- Pre-existing condition limitations
- Treatment downgrades
- Co-insurance amounts
- Annual maximums

One of the most appealing benefits of becoming a QPDentite is eradicating a middle man. No insurance company executive will have a say in whether or not recommended treatment will be a covered treatment. You will be presented with treatment options, you will be offered discounted pricing, and you will decide if you opt to proceed. You will simply receive the dental care you need, right when you need it (and/or want it).

The QPDentites Membership Club has a one-time initiation fee, followed by a low monthly fee (the first month’s is included in the initiation fee). The fees vary, based on which of the three care groups you qualify for, but with all of the groups, you receive your biannual routine preventive visits (including all of the necessary exams, x-rays and cleanings), in addition to an annual emergency exam (if needed), at no extra charge. If you require further dental treatment, the plans give you an automatic 25%-35% discount on almost all additional treatments. It is truly an affordable path to Quality and Personalized Dentistry.

If you are interested in becoming a QPDentite, please inquire at The QPD and we will let you know which membership plan you are eligible for.
